Elohim Releases Journey to the Center of Myself, Vol. 1

On June 24th, Elohim released Journey to the Center of Myself Vol. 1, the first of four in this collection. After growing her style and her lyricism over the past albums she has released, this EP is mindblowing. With psychedelic vibes and hard beats, Elohim’s music never fails to disappoint. The first two songs off of the EP are something different from what she's created before, and they’re amazing. The first song, which the EP is named for, is trippy and extremely unique - the bass line is super neat, and overall the song is a great introduction. “I Am The Greatest” is the perfect song to scream the chorus to. “Nice” and “Creatures” are this wonderful mix of Elohim’s new sound and what we can hear on her past EP Braindead - a sampling of vocals and other sounds, and music that fills up your chest while you listen to it. And, of course, we can’t ignore “Strut” featuring Big Freedia. This is a very new style of song for Elohim, and it’s amazing in both its sound and its feature.
