Highway to Hell Yeah Brother Tour
Nearing the end of their hurrah tour for their second full-length album, Burnout (Deluxe), the band assembled a local line-up every night of their tour, and here’s what the Phoenix stop brought to the table:
deathdotgov is a band I’ve been able to witness live a few times and it’s always a pleasure. Their debut album, deathdotcom, is reaching its one-year tenure, and the group has a few more legs to stand on. The self-proclaimed ‘mime show’ mixed their own sounds with songs of the times and punchlines told through meme sounds.
Marked;life debuted two new songs, their first in two years, and also shot a music video for one of them, hyping the crowd up to get some killer crowd shots with cameras and crew set up around the venue to capture the pure insanity.
My Upside Down had been outside before the show, chatting with a crowd that was around their merch booth. I can’t lie, the energy was palpable and electric when these kids came on stage. The 21-and-under side of the crowd kept a pit going until the end of their set. The members were connecting with the crowd shouting out names of friends and fans in the crowd, after the set they were found at their merch booth signing posters.
Good Terms hail from LA but they make a home wherever they are playing a show that night, fans travel to see them from surrounding states, familiar faces in the crowd garner waves, finger points and big smiles from the band. They opened the set with “Same Team” and kept the party going, finishing strong with their hard hitters “Progress”, “Reaching”, and “Cough”. I’m excited to see where this year takes the LA natives, 2026 is a big year for them.
