VULTURE: German Heavy Metal Practitioners Unleash “Oathbreaker” Video; Sentinels Full-Length Out On Metal Blade Records

German heavy metal band Vulture have just released their latest album, Sentinels, and it is a further development of the band’s signature sound that has earned the group fans on both sides of the Atlantic.
“In direct comparison to the last album, Dealin’ Death, we’ve picked up the pace again noticeably. We’re bolder and a bit wilder again. It was important to us to be catchy and to include choruses that stick. Of course, we’ve basically retained our style, but we’ve defined the framework of the songs more clearly.”

Fans of Exodus, Metallica, or Slayer will bang their heads to Vulture. The new single off Sentinels is the song, “Oathbreaker” and it continues Vulture’s tradition of putting a modern take on classic thrash metal. The song is a tribute to the great metal legends that have inspired Vulture.
Commenting on the track Castevet said, “‘Oathbreaker’ is our homage to both the heroes and founders of our style in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s, as well as the brave among us who put everything on one card, pursue their passion and have found a way outside the social norm to understand heavy metal as their purpose in life. We salute you!"
Vulture has released a music video for “Oathbreaker.” Just like the classic sound the band takes on the track, Vulture approached the video with the same type of reverence to dark themes that are a trademark of the genre.The visuals of the video harken back to the old-school metal fascination with dark fantasy and occult themes.
Sentinels is out now via Metal Blade Records. The album is available on CD and digital formats Vulture is releasing in limited quantities a series of vinyl records in the following color variants:
