Wage War Crash Lands A Brand New Single “NAIL5”! + New Album STIGMA Out This Summer

A new era has begun for metacore icons Wage War and its set to dominate the world. The band has officially announced their fifth album STIGMA which will be released across all streaming platforms on June 21th via Fearless Records with physical copies landing on September 6th.

In addition to the album’s announcement, Wage War shares a brand new music video for their latest single,”NAIL5”. This follows the release of their previous single “Magnetic” which debuted on Sirius XM Octane last month with the music video following after.

NAIL5” takes Wage War’s signature heavy style and throws in some twists and turns. With bouncy industrialized riffs, background synths that give the song an atmosphere and some surprising pop-style clean vocals from Briton before exploding into ferocious roars, Wage War breaks the barrier of the status quo of metalcore and heavy music in general with the groovy two and half minute heavy hitter that is “NAIL5”. The band continuously experiments their sound to expand their craft and create an unforgettable ride that both new and old fans can enjoy.

"'NAIL5' is a tribute to our fifth album and continuing to push the envelope in every way, and in this instance, the heavy side. We took the elements that we loved from our past discography and turned it all the way up. The message: You're either in or you're in the way."

Wage War just kicked off their Spring 2024 co-headlining tour with Nothing More on April 16th in Charlotte, North Carolina. The tour will run for a whole month, concluding on May 17th in Indianapolis, Indiana with Veil Of Maya and Sleep Theory as special guests.

Since the start of their sonic career, Wage War has made it clear that their mission is to constantly push the envelope and evolve their sound while also taking metal into unfamiliar territories. The band has assembled their identity with punishing riffs, harsh vocals and melodic hooks and this was done only through ten years of hard work and dedication to their craft. Since forming in 2010, the band has released four studio albums, Blueprints in 2015, Deadweight in 2017, Pressure in 2019 and Manic in 2021 and each album has left a mark on the band’s legacy with songs like “Stitch”, “Low”, “Manic” and “Circle The Drain” where they all bring something different out of the band but keeping true to their core. The songs have gathered hundreds of millions of streams across all streaming platforms, and the albums have charted on the US Billboard. The band has been praised by multiple media outlets like Revolver, Guitar World and even KERRANG! with the latter hailing Manic as “their greatest album yet”. The band intends on continuing to level their sound with industrial grit and electronic sheen on the upcoming album STIGMA. “Magnetic” and “NAIL5” were just a taste of what’s about to come.

I’m a photographer from Long Island, NY. I’ve been going to shows for as long as I can remember and about three years ago, I took up photography as a hobby. Initially, I was only doing street photography and eventually I took my camera to shows and began shooting shows in Brooklyn and Long Island. I’m always looking for ways to improve my work and push beyond what I can do.
