Afterus Live At Lucky 13 Saloon

On the night of Friday, February 4th, the band Afterus opened up a show at Lucky 13 Saloon in Brooklyn, NY. This local NYC band has a sound all their own, they perfectly mesh together extreme metal, folk metal, industrial metal, metal, modern metal, and melodic death metal making them stand out from the rest. Clutch Announces North American Tour

Clutch has announced that they will embark on a massive North American tour this Spring. This will be the band’s return to touring since their successful co-headlining tour with Dropkick Murphys back in 2019. The band has decided to split the 38-day tour into two legs. Loss Of Signal Release ‘Audible Trauma’

Pop-punk band Loss Of Signal is based in Belfast, Northern Ireland but you would be forgiven if you thought they came straight out of Southern California. Loss Of  Signal has a style that is very much influenced by the pop-punk bands of the 90s and early 2000s. Fans of bands such as Blink-182, Sum 41, and New Found Glory will gravitate towards Loss Of Signal whose sound, while reminiscent of earlier pop-punk, also throws in newer influences as well.

Jeff Rosenstock at Warsaw in NYC

Over Thanksgiving weekend, Jeff Rosenstock came back to his former hometown of Brooklyn, NY to perform three nights of music at Warsaw, in a quiet corner of Greenpoint. He was touring in support of his latest album No Dream, playing shows that had been delayed thanks to the ongoing pandemic. Asking fans to remain masked at all venues, Jeff and co. set off to hit the stage all across the country before landing in NYC for the long weekend. Starting off on Black Friday was Ska Dream, where Rosenstock channeled his former ska bands and gave the crowd a night filled with brass tones and dancing. Nights two and three consisted of the No Dream shows that had been taking over the US and parts of Canada.

Black Rose Burning Release ‘The Wheel’

Fans of ethereal and dark genres such as goth, synthwave, and shoegaze will find much to enjoy in the music of Black Rose Burning. Instrumentalist, producer, and engineer George Grant formed this dark rock band. Reminiscent of classic bands like The Dammed, The Cult, and The Veldt and newer acts Twin Tribes and Creux Lies, Black Rose Burning combines pop sensibilities with a grounding in hard rock amid a gothic atmosphere. Four years after the band’s debut, Black Rose Burning has announced the release of the sophomore album, The Wheel.

Decadence Arizona 2021

On December 30th and 31st, EDM fans rang in the New Year at Decadence Arizona. It was definitely a party with fans traveling from all over the state and even the country to attend the event. The line-up featured some of the most prominent names in EDM, such as Excision, Marshmello, and Dillon Francis, who ushered partygoers into 2022.

Album of the Year 2021

This year just kept on giving with new albums and singles at every turn. After the hellish 2020 year, we all needed some normalcy in a world of chaos. Every genre of music rolled out new singles for their fans to get back to what we all know and love. Along with new albums, new singles, and tour dates being released, we all can't help but feel spoiled with getting back to what we missed most.

AMMO Releases A Cold War City

The multi-faceted artist AMMO has utilized her experience as a photographer and filmmaker to better connect with audiences. A rock photographer, AMMO became very much involved in the music community by profiling bands she saw as being vital to the scene. After getting her start in fashion photography and directing music videos, AMMO would eventually produce a feature film. She then co-founded PLAG Present, a platform to promote women and LGBTQ  musicians.
