Do you like your music to sound strange and ethereal and be heavily influenced by obscure cinema and occult teachings? If so, then the mysterious duo of Voodoo Black Exorcist may be what you are looking for. The band is made up of Johnny Alucard and High Priestess Faust. The pair originate from Darlington, England, a rural area that probably has its fair share of folk horror-type death cults performing dark rituals in the countryside. 

Dutch symphonic metal band Epica has been going strong for 20 years. To celebrate this milestone, the band has recruited some of their allies in metal to collaborate on a truly ear-shattering and headbanging album. Titled The Alchemy Project, the album consists of seven killer tracks, each co-written and performed by some of metal’s most innovative and engaging stars. 

Relentless Beats brings back one of its most popular music festivals with Decadence Arizona: Ancient Future. Taking place at Phoenix Raceway on December 30th and 31st, Decadence Arizona: Ancient Future is set to be one of the hottest New Year’s celebrations. Decadence Arizona: Ancient Future follows Relentless Beats’ successful event last October, Goldrush, which also took place at Phoenix Raceway. As killer as Goldrush was, Decadence Arizona: Ancient Future is set to be even bigger with much higher production and more music.

Your latest single, “Pearl”  just dropped. Congrats! How’s it feel to have new music out? 

Super exciting!  I, personally, haven’t released any music in almost 10 years, so it’s almost like the first time.  It’s very satisfying to finally see something that we’ve put a lot of time and energy into come out and be heard by people.  

This group of songs started out as an EP that we intended to release in the Spring/Summer of 2020, but once the recording process got going, it jumpstarted my creative drive, and I ended up writing more. I think these songs have the fullest instrumentation out of all the stuff I’ve done before and overall the record feels the most coherent to me.

When it rains, it pours — even in Phoenix, Arizona, where the inaugural Zona Music Festival welcomed thousands of fans who sloshed through the mud to see the indie-heavy lineup of artists on December 3rd and 4th. 

Emerging alternative Urbano artist Notagami recently dropped her latest video, “Telarañas.” Since Notagami’s previous videos have been live performances, “Telarañas” marks the first time she has done a video with a full production team behind it. The experience was a thrilling one for Notagami.

The Phoenix, Arizona-based band Don’t Panic has released the latest album, 42, via Auspicious Records. This latest release from Don’t Panic represents a new approach to the band’s music. The members of Don’t Panic have all expressed how continuing to evolve has been a unifying theme of the group.

Of course, Steve Lacy would be the one to sell out all three levels of the iconic House Of Blues on the Las Vegas Strip.

The ages you grow up into shape you, one way or the other. Great artists have a great many things to share. It had been an enlightening conversation we had with Centershift’s Jasan Radford. During our conversation, having noticed some similarities with great bands such as Audioslave and Breaking Benjamin, we asked Jasan about the band’s influences.

At MAX’s first headlining Vegas show, the energy was unmatched.

Your latest album, “Heartless,”  just dropped on October 14th. Congrats! How’s it feel to have new music out? 

So great! We had originally had most of the EP finished mid 2020, but the pandemic made it impossible to play shows; which in turn made it impossible to afford finishing the record. Morale was definitely at an all time low during the pandemic so it’s been wonderful to be able to pick up where we left off — with our original lineup in tact!

In a short time, Venice Beach-based rock band Hot For Crime has received a great deal of positive attention from fans and critics. A recent show at the Viper Room was sold out. A first-hand account from Live Music New and Review praises Hot For Crime by saying, “the group has a memorable presence and easy camaraderie interplay onstage that draws the listener in. Hot For Crime seems destined for success….” 

On Monday, October 17th, 2022, Sleeping With Sirens played a sold-out show in Mesa, AZ, at The Nile Theatre with support from True North. The band is currently on tour to promote the release of their eighth album after thirteen years together, COMPLETE COLLAPSE. They are playing a string of intimate shows throughout the United States, and fans are all pumped to be up close and personal in these smaller venues.

“I’m glad I didn’t skip Las Vegas.” The fans became a family at Role Model’s first show in Vegas at the House of Blues.

On Friday, October 7th through Sunday, October 9th, fans gathered at Phoenix, Raceway in Avondale, AZ, to have their Neon Dreams come true at Goldrush while dancing the night away. With artists like Excision, Ghastly, Boogie T, and Rezz performing throughout the weekend, there was something for everyone. Fans were constantly running around the multi-stage festival to see their favorite artists.

On Friday, September 23rd, Relentless Beats and Psycho Steve Presents teamed up to put on Hearts on Fire Music Festival at The Marquee Theatre in Tempe, AZ. With a lineup featuring early 2000s legends like Boys Like Girls and The All-American Rejects, the inaugural event was not a night to miss.

“I’m so sad it’s over, but I definitely went out with the best show.” I found this comment online from a fan who has been to multiple shows on Wallows’ tour.

Once again, Goldrush will be making its appearance in the desert for the annual western-themed EDM festival. This year, the 18+ event will take place on Friday, October 7th, through Sunday, October 9th, at Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Arizona. The multi-stage festival will feature fan-favorite acts such as Excision, Rezz, and Seven Lions.

Next Friday, September 23rd, Relentless Beats and Psycho Steve Presents will co-host the first annual Hearts On Fire Music Festival featuring The All-American Rejects, Boys Like Girls, Mayday Parade, and more. The event will take place at Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, AZ, where Relentless Beats has hosted many of its events this year.
