Melanie Martinez has been weaving the story of her character ‘CryBaby’ for a past decade, Melanie stated in an interview with Apple Music that this will be the last part of the trilogy. Her debut album ‘CryBaby’ which was released in the late summer of 2015, introduced the character to listeners and moved through the trials and hardships of growing up. ‘CryBaby’ has been certified double-platinum in the US as well as reentering the charts in 2020 after the song ‘Play-Date’ became a viral replayed song on Tik-Tok. Melanie’s second album ‘K-12’ dropped in the early fall of 2019, the stunning visually accompanied album had no singles drop before the initial release but still landed number 3 on the Billboard 200. The album is accompanied by a film with the same name (watch the film free on YouTube) written and directed by Melanie herself the film has over 100 million views.

Since emerging from the Arizona desert, Puscifer, the electro-rock band founded by Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan has impressed critics with their unique brand of experimental and groovy music. The group’s 2020 album Existential Reckoning was highly well-regarded. Now Puscifer has revisited their hit album with a release of remixes called Existential Reckoning: Re-Wired.

Swedish band Diamonds and Guns will be releasing their new EP, “Making Cash For Heartless Crooks.” These songs are in a more positive atmosphere in comparison to their older releases. These can be described as more nostalgic, party, and full of summer vibes. The breathtaking melancholic, harmonious, energetic and incredible dynamics perfectly compliment the dark and light lyrics.

The upcoming four-piece from the depths of hell, Swollen Teeth, have released the official music video for “LETHAL.” The song is from their upcoming self titled EP, which is produced by the one and only Sid Wilson of Slipknot. The track is intense and gut-wrenching and lives up to the bands growing reputation of being one of the nastiest bands emerging in the scene. This track is boundary-pushing and once you hear it, you’ll be desperate for more.

The style that is taken on in this project is a poem type sing-song which gives the songs a haunting web to weave.

On Thursday, March 30th, progressive metal quartet, After The Burial, have released their first new music in 4 years today with the drop of double single 'Embrace The Infinity' which consists of two new tracks - "Nothing Gold" and "Death Keeps Us From Living".

Before I get into any details about this concert, this was my first metal concert I have ever been to. My dad took me to see Motionless In White, Ice Nine Kills, and Black Veil Brides for the first time April 27th 2022 in Norfolk Va for a late birthday gift. The second time I went was September 7th 2022 at Jacobs Pavilion in Cleveland Ohio.

On March 28th the symphonic deathcore band Worm Shepherd released a brand new stand alone single, “The Frozen Lake Pt ll (The Ruined)”. The song is a sequel to “The Frozen Lake” from their album In the Wake of Ov Sòl which came out in 2021. The track is absolutely brutal and is likely to be adored by fans of other deathcore bands such as Lorna Shore.

On Wednesday March 29th, Manchester, UK group Hot Milk announced their debut album 'A CALL TO THE VOID' set for release August 25th via Music For Nations and released their lead single "HORROR SHOW". To go along with these two announcements, they have also added that they will be going on tour.

Angelspit has been part of the God-tier of Industrials sounds since their first release back in 2004 and they have not slowed down since. Angelspit has put out over 25 albums as well as almost 80 remixes over their almost 2 decade span as a project and this single proves they are still alive as before.

Since its roots in the early 90s, Italy has had a vibrant gothic metal scene. Italian Gothic Metal is a subgenre of Gothic Metal that originated in Italy in the early 1990s. With dark lyrics (often in English) melancholic melodies, and distorted guitars bands like Lacuna Coil, The Foreshadowing, Macbeth, Domina Noctis, and Mandragora Scream have achieved success internationally. BLAX seeks to be the next wave of Italian gothic metal.

The metalcore band The Dillinger Escape Plan are entering the four-color world of comic books with One of Us Is the Killer, a graphic novel inspired by their album of the same name. One of Us Is the Killer is a sci-fi story about a dystopian future where a lone figure brings justice and retribution against a techno-corporate tyranny.

In exactly one week, on Friday, April 7th, ravers from all over the valley and some from around the country will travel to Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, AZ, for PHXLIGHTS: Among the Stars. This out-of-this-world EDM event will be held inside Phoenix Raceway for the first time, with fans invading the track for the two-day event.

After having to postpone a run of Northeastern tour dates in 2022 due to a bad case of COVID-19 hitting the band, Canada’s The Rural Alberta Advantage returned to New York City’s Bowery Ballroom on March 23rd, 2023. A crisp night on the Lower East Side, fans were eager to gather and dance the night away.

On March 22, Metal bands Until I Wake, Dark Divine and Catch Your Breath hit up The Webster Theater in CT ran by Capulet Entertainment for one of the stops on the “A Tour Inside My”. Each band put on a killer performance leaving me speechless by the end of the night.

After touring Australia, Europe, and the UK the pop-punk titans Sleeping With Sirens have finally announced their return to the US with the ‘Family Tree Tour’. Dayseeker and MAGS will be joining them as support. The tour will begin on May 16th in Little Rock, Arkansas and wraps up on June 2nd in Riverside, California.

Back in January, Goldview released Believe which came to be their first single of their new ep that released earlier this month. This the band's first Ep drop since their first in 2018, they have released several singles in between time. The band also has a touring roster of bands such as No Pressure, Crooked Teeth and Youth Fountain.
