The pop rock band that defined a generation, Boys Like Girls, have finally returned after 11 years with the flawless single “Blood and Sugar”. The track is a raw portrayal of the experience of being human, exploring things that are bad for you despite knowing what the end result will be.

It had been a long time since I had been at the Crescent Ballroom, which lays smack dab in the middle of the college town in Phoenix. Despite the construction littering the streets of downtown, people were already lined up as early as 2 hours before they opened the doors. Some adorned Covet shirts giddy with excitement to see the band again, some were just there for a good time.

British rock band Hot Milk have announced a new single off their debut album A Call to the Void. The track is titled, “Party on My Deathbed” and it is a sonic party anthem about reckless nights and backstage parties. “Party on My Deathbed” expresses the hedonistic lifestyle that Hot Milk lives and preaches.

The notorious horror themed metalcore outfit, Ice Nine Kills, have announced their US headlining tour ‘Fear The Premier’. The tour will begin on August 8th and will showcase a spectacular lineup with support from August Burns Red and Veil of Maya (August 8th-August 11th) and Set It Off and The Plot In You (August 15-September 1st). Mike’s Dead will be opening for every date on the tour. Artist presale begins May 16th at noon with additional presales throughout the week. On June 9th the San Diego hardcore/punk band Toxins will be releasing their first ever full length album “Existential Dread”. They get their influences from melodic hardcore and skate punk and turn them into catchy, fast paced absolute masterpieces on this 10 track album.

On May 5th The Smashing Pumpkins released their highly anticipated album, ATUM. The 33 track 3 part album is a sequel to 1995’s Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness and 2000’s Machina/Machine of God and was written and produced by Corgan over the last 4 years. Act 3 has a special edition box set featuring all 33 album tracks plus 10 unreleased songs, which are available here.

‘DOGMA’, the fifth studio album from genre-bending, modern post-metalcore quartet, Crown The Empire is out now via Rise Records. Alongside the release, the band premieres the music video for “Superstar.” The track, featuring Palaye Royale’s Remington Leith, will join the album’s previously released singles “Black Sheep,” “DOGMA,” “Immortalize,” “In Another Life” featuring Spiritbox’s Courtney LaPlante, and “Dancing With The Dead.”

The multi-platinum rap rock band Hollywood Undead share the music video for “House of Mirrors” featuring multi-genre sensation Jelly Roll. Available exclusively on the digital version of Hotel Kalifornia Deluxe, the song is a story of self-reflection and was co-written with Jelly Roll in a studio session last year.

Covet released their fourth studio album ‘catharsis’ on April 7th of this year, after only a little over a month of the release the band has put the music video for the opening track ‘coronal’ out into the world.

For the past month Bring Me the Horizon has been teasing us about their new single coming out called “LosT” they have been posting it all over their socials and even gave us some clips of the song and music video.

Starting out first as a Youtube sensation posting videos that portrayed her as human-like android, the videos only lasted around a minute or less but had high production value. In 2016 she released her first EP, Bubblebath, which had a pop influence.

Oceano has a long and turbulent past that started a little over 17 years ago, in 2006 the band was formed in Cook County, Illinois and the group released their first album, ‘Depths’ with Earache records in 2009. The band has had several member changes through the years with only one true member staying the same since 2007 that being lead vocalist Adam Warren. Oceano is truly known for their guttural, chunky sound and the push of creativeness they gave to the deathcore community.

On May 1st the Atlanta based nu-deathcore quintet, Left to Suffer, released their brutal new single “Artificial Anatomy” featuring Kim Dracula with a music video to accompany it. The track is full of intense vocals from the incredible frontman, Taylor Barber. The single is from the band's upcoming album “Feral”, which will be released on May 12th.

As some of you may know ILLENIUM and Motionless In White have done this amazing collaboration. The song ¨Nothing Ever After¨ has came out Friday April 26th this song has many different emotions to it. This song for me is just like the song Masterpiece by Motionless In White but it hits a lot harder in many different ways.

PHXLIGHTS shook the earth the first weekend of April, transporting EDM fans throughout the valley to another world as they entered the Phoenix Raceway track and were immersed in the otherworldly surroundings.

Metal’s hottest band, Spiritbox, have released their brand new single “The Void” as well as a visualizer to go along with it. The song is filled with multi-layered soundscapes and insanely catchy vocals that is instantly recognized as Spiritbox, but with a bit of a twist compared to their previous work.
