British rock band Enter Shikari has just released the music video for "(pls) set me on fire.” The track is the first single off the forthcoming new album A Kiss For The Whole World. Enter Shikari frontman Rou Reynolds took a more active role in developing the music video than he has previously done. Reynolds conceived and directed the video aided by the production talents of London-based studio Kode Media.

Fans across the country have always flocked to the sunshine state for music festivals, and this year, another contender has been added to the mix. Echoland Music Festival has released its 2023 lineup for the May event. The festival will take place at the Spirit of the Suwanee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida, May 11th-13th; tickets for the event went on sale on January 19th. Echoland will occur across four stages throughout the three-day event to showcase numerous folk, indie, and headline artists. On January 20th, solo rap artist Macklemore released his latest single with a music video to accompany it for his single Heroes featuring DJ Premier fans have waited for, although he is originally from Kent, WA the old school NY rap style and essence is evident with this release. The video was shot in NYC on the streets and on the MTA subway to bring together the vibe you feel when listening to it. As a native NYer myself, I loved every moment of the video and the song itself.

You Me At Six has released a new single from their upcoming album, “Truth Decay,” which will be released on February 10th. The album was set for release on January 27th; however, the band was forced to delay due to vinyl production issues. The fifth single, ":mydopamine:” is from the new album. Vocalist, Josh Frenceschi, has spoken about the recent release stating, “Dopamine is the body’s feel-good chemical, it’s responsible for allowing you to have pleasure, satisfaction and motivation. This song is about someone being that for you, making you feel good, making you feel alive.”

The world-renowned music and arts festival, Bonnaroo, has released the lineup for the 2023 season, including over 150 performances and spanning various genres to appeal to many fanbases. The once in a lifetime chatroom encounter turned once producer into song writer. Tobias Dray’s dreamy melancholy song tells the story from the point of view of a boy who falls madly in love with a girl named Maya or maybe it's the moment? Dray states over some TikTok videos that “‘Maya’ is not a love song” and that it is not a ‘friendship song’ but he has since posted videos of him flying to see the girl that inspired the song as well as some behind the scenes of the music video and him filming her reaction to the song.
